Take off from Kungsportsplatsen in the heart of the city for a boat ride that allows you to hop on or off to at any of the four stops (see the Itinerary section below for a full list of stops). Alternatively, stay on board for the ride along the city’s canals and listen to the live guide.

Take time out at Lejontrappan, Gothenburg’s main shopping district, to stroll the bustling streets, window shop, and grab a traditional fika, or coffee and pastry break. Disembark at Lilla Bommen to admire the impressive Opera House and one of Scandinavia’s largest sailing ships. Visit the 17th-century fortress Nya Älvsborg, or step ashore at Feskekörka to trawl through its seafood-laden stalls and perhaps dig into a straight-from-the-sea lunch (own expense).
