What To Expect

Abisko National Park (Pass By) We will drive with the minibus trough Abisko nationalpark. We will pass by the famous Lapporten and Abisko canyon. Abisko National Park is located in the far northern part of Sweden, with only Vadvetjakka National Park being further north. It rests near the border of Norway. The park covers an area of 30 square miles (77 sq km). The park extends from Tornetrask Lake up through 121 miles (195 km) inside the Arctic Circle. Tjuonavagge (Pass By) Lapporten or Tjuonavagge is a U-shaped valley located just outside Abisko National Park in Lapland in northern Sweden, one of the most familiar natural sights of the mountains there. The valley is bounded to the southwest of the mountain Nissuntjårro and in the northeast of Tjuonatjåkka.
